New Facility with help from Federal Grant

AKP has completed an $800,000 plus upgrade and relocation of its production facility to the Snuggery Industrial Park. This was made possible by the provision of a Fishing Community Assistance Grant from the Federal Government of $400,000. This has enabled AKP to improve the quantity and quality of its liquid kelp products and the given us the capacity to make pelletised seaweed and blended products under the Seabiscuit banner for the stock, pet and equestrian markets.

In addition funds have been used to develop and upgrade packaging, brochures and develop this website.

AKP launches new world first seaweed product

AKP has just launched the worlds first 100% blended seaweed pellet. This pellet will be marketed to the livestock, equestrian and pet markets. This product is under the StockAid Seabiscuit brand and will be available in 1,000 kg, 20 kg bags and 3 kg plastic pails.

The benefits of pure seaweed have been widely circulated over the years but this is the first time a company has commercially released a 100% organically certified input pellet to the market.
