AKP is actively pursuing the production of Bio-fuels such as ethanol from seaweed.

There are a number of countries around the world who are developing the extraction of ethanol from seaweed.

AKP has perhaps the largest beach cast seaweed resource in the world, conservatively estimated at 500,000 tonnes per annum.
